  • Provide technical consultation and support for:
    • NMEA 2000 networks
    • Ethernet-based marine networks
    • Digital switching systems
    • Vessel automation systems
    • Third-party integrated technologies
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, networking, and system integration issues both remotely and on-site.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to identify, develop, and support OEM opportunities from initial evaluation through production implementation.
  • Conduct customer training, product demonstrations, and technical workshops.
  • Support factory acceptance testing, vessel commissioning activities, and sea trials.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and support product improvements.
  • Develop into a subject matter expert (SME) on Raymarine digital switching, networking, and vessel automation technologies.
  • Additional assigned duties.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience with software development, systems integration, technical support, marine electronics, automation systems, networking, or related technical disciplines.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
  • Working knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with NMEA 2000, CAN-based systems, digital switching, vessel automation systems, or related technologies preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and network architectures.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-starter, team player, who is adaptable and able to operate in ambiguous scenarios.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with customers, OEMs, installers, or technical stakeholders preferred.
  • Microsoft Windows and Office 365 experience, including Teams and related collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support teams.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 25% annually.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools for productivity, troubleshooting, and technical analysis.
  • HS Diploma or GED required. University degree, technical certification, military technical training, trade school education, or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
