Description
We are seeking a **Senior Infrastructure Specialist** for a long-term consulting assignment with a leading international industrial technology company in Västerås. This is a hands-on senior role responsible for managing and improving complex IT and Industrial/OT infrastructure environments.
## Tasks
- Administer Windows Server and Linux environments
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)
- Support enterprise networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Drive infrastructure security, hardening, and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple infrastructure domains
- Collaborate with engineering teams supporting industrial systems, SCADA, PLCs, and factory networks
## Requirements
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, networking, storage, and backup technologies
- Expertise in infrastructure security and automation
- Experience with Docker and enterprise infrastructure operations
- Background in manufacturing, Industrial IT, OT, SCADA, PLC, or ICS environments is highly desirable
