Job Description:
Join our Global Payment Operations team and play a key role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and secure processing of payment transactions. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy solving complex operational issues, and are passionate about driving operational excellence.
As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring payment activities, managing operational exceptions, supporting manual payment processes, investigating incidents, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, risk management, and client experience.
Responsibilities:
Monitor payment processing activities and investigate exceptions, delays, and transaction failures;
Execute and oversee manual payment processes while ensuring adherence to established controls and procedures;
Research, analyze, and resolve payment-related operational issues and incidents;
Partner with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Business teams to drive timely issue resolution;
Develop and maintain operational procedures, process documentation, and knowledge materials;
Analyze operational data and trends to identify risks, improve performance, and enhance controls;
Support implementation of new products, regulatory requirements, and operational initiatives;
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement across the payment lifecycle;
Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk standards, and regulatory requirements.
Skills:
Experience in Payment Operations, Banking Operations, Cash Management, Treasury Operations, or related areas;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Experience managing operational incidents, exceptions, and transaction investigations;
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly controlled environment;
Excellent attention to detail and risk awareness;
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
Experience with process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives;
Proficiency with data analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Excel.
Professional Qualifications
Knowledge of domestic payment processes;
Experience working in financial services or banking operations;
Understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory requirements;
Advanced English proficiency.
