Description
Voss Auto Network is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Network Office team! This position plays an important role in keeping our accounting operations running smoothly by ensuring invoices are processed accurately, payments are made timely, and vendor records remain organized and up to date.

Some of your duties as an accounts payable clerk are:
Daily you will prepare accounts payable checks, post all open items in accounts payable, print all accounts payable reports and maintain the accounts payable files.
You will check all vouchers and obtain appropriate payment approval.
Twice per month you will post, stamp and file invoices
You will reconcile statements and the ledger making sure payments are consistent with dealership schedules.
Will be in the rotation to cover for the receptionist.
Will assist with monthly closings, prepare analysis and assist with special projects as needed.
Will audit freight bills, analyze vendor accounts and communicate cash requirements for payable dates to the manager when needed.
You will need have strong computer skills, ability to work with the team and to be able to complete your work in a accurate and timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- Previous accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred
- Reconcile daily cash, check, and electronic deposits each day for all assigned dealership locations, identifying and resolving any variances daily.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
- Professional and dependable work ethic
- Automotive or dealership accounting experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
