Connected Warfare (CW): The Connected Warfare simulaivision builds systems to support global command and control missions. We create joint, time sensitive, multi domain, ubiquitous, connected mesh ecosystems. Our ecosystem enables connected warfare with disproportional impact by connecting every mac robot, human, and sensor in every domain, bringing together hundreds of thousands of end points across the globe. We are the substrate that provides the source of truth for time sensitive decision, effectively transforming the way that militaries close kills chains and enable mission autonomy.
Warfighter Systems (WS): Warfighter Systems brings cutting-edge technology directly to those on the front lines. ABOUT THE JOB
We seek a Senior Software Engineer with hands-on Android Open Source Project (AOSP) development experience on Qualcomm SoC platforms to contribute to low-level system software and platform integration. The ideal candidate has shipped Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth solutions on Qualcomm AOSP-based products. Candidates will work on customizing and optimizing Android builds, device drivers, HALs, and middleware layers to support wireless connectivity and coexistence. Familiarity with embedded Linux, kernel modules, and SoC-specific toolchains is essential to ensure seamless hardware-software co-design and performance tuning.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with the AOSP build system and platform customization
- Experience developing and debugging Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth software on Qualcomm AOSP SoCs, ideally through to a shipping product
- Knowledge of Qualcomm SoC architecture and driver development
- Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded Linux programming
- Familiarity with cross-compilation toolchains and kernel module development
- Must be able to travel up to 20%
- Must Be Clearance Eligible
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Android connectivity frameworks and HALs (wpa_supplicant, cfg80211/mac80211, Bluetooth stack/BTFM)
- Experience with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth coexistence, RF bring-up, and over-the-air debugging
- Experience with hardware bring-up and board debugging
- Understanding of power management and thermal control on mobile SoCs
- Exposure to security features and trusted execution environments (TEE)
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
