Reporting to a senior manager or director within the Infrastructure & Operations Project Delivery team, this role is responsible for managing IT Infrastructure projects on a regional scale and involves the day-to-day management of multiple concurrent projects. 

 

The ideal candidate must bring experience in formal project management within a technology function and a demonstrated ability to manage the implementation of allocated projects to agreed scope, timescales, budget, and quality of deliverables.

 

A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network architecture and enterprise environments is preferred.

 

Excellent communication and organizational skills are a requirement.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure initiatives, large-scale technology deployments, and corporate office relocations. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage large scale projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver enterprise-grade technology solutions that support business operations across multiple offices.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects including LAN/WAN upgrades and network security implementations.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation approaches for complex technical initiatives. Ensure infrastructure projects align with enterprise architecture and security standards as well as meet business requirements.

• Lead large-scale technology deployments, enterprise-wide technology rollouts including hardware refreshes, software implementations, unified communications platforms, and endpoint management solutions. Coordinate deployment schedules across multiple sites and time zones while minimizing business impact.

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery commitments are met on time and within budget.

• Corporate office relocation coordination; oversee all technology aspects of office relocations, expansions, and consolidations.

• Support connectivity for standard office technology deployments including AV solutions, access control systems, smart building devices (air quality/occupancy sensors, lighting control, room booking panels, MFPs, etc), BMS solutions, and end-user equipment.

• Coordinate with corporate real estate business partners, facilities, and business units to ensure seamless technology deployments.

• Stakeholder management & communication, serving as primary liaison between IT, business units, vendors, and executive leadership. Provide regular project status updates, escalate risks appropriately, and maintain transparent communication channels.

• Resource management, lead cross-functional project teams including network engineers, systems administrators, telecommunications specialists, and third-party vendors. Mentor junior project managers and promote best practices across the PMO. Manage resource allocation, workload prioritization, and team performance.

• Maintain project documentation including schedules, budgets, risk/issue logs, and lessons learned. Ensure adherence to PMO methodologies, change management processes, and quality assurance standards. Track project metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

 

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT project management experience with at least 5 years managing enterprise infrastructure projects.

• Proven track record delivering network infrastructure upgrades, large-scale technology deployments, and corporate office moves in complex corporate environments.

• Technical understanding of network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless systems, and SD-WAN technologies. Familiarity with corporate office technologies such as VoIP systems, video conferencing platforms, AV devices, and access control systems.

• Project Management Expertise or PMP certification required. Strong command of project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile/hybrid approaches.

• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com or similar platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.

• Stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels.

• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and resolve conflicts effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing international projects

• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms

• Background in network engineering or infrastructure architecture

• Experience working in commercial real estate or corporate real estate services

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

 

Working Environment

This role requires flexibility to accommodate project demands including occasional evening or weekend work during critical deployment windows or office moves. Some travel required to project sites and corporate offices (estimated 20-30%). Hybrid work arrangement available when not required onsite for project activities.
