Supply Chain Director

In this role you will be a Supply Chain Director for a client in the automotive industry. This position will be responsible for the complete supply chain performance across my client distribution network. This includes inventory controls, demand and supply planning, supplier/vendor management, and logistics. This position will be responsible for owning in-stock rates, turns, inventory value, shrinkage, and stocking strategies while driving OTD, quality, and PPV performance and creating new vendor relationships. 

This is a direct hire role that is a fully remote position but candidates must be in the Chicago, IL area. 

The pay on this role is $180,000 to $200,000 plus bonus and based on experience. 

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelors Degree is required
• 8+ years of experience with Supply Chain, inventory management, and/or demand/supply planning leadership 
• Must have experience operating with multi-location distribution or warehouse network
• Experience across an international supply base 
• Track record of leading a formal SIOP/S&OP process and applying LEAN/Six SIgma methods (kaizen, DMAIC) in a continuous improvement environment
• Experience leading demand planning and supply planning 
• Ability to build, implement, and manage a comprehensive inventory controls program 
• Own inventory turns, value, and shrinkage metrics
• Create and implement one standard operating procedure for inventory management and supply chain
• Some travel domestic and international (20%)
