SUMMARY: 

This position in the Costing Center of Excellence within Corporate Accounting will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, support, and execution of the monthly cost process. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will involve numerous costing projects, analytical work, and help troubleshoot system issues.  This position is responsible for maintaining transfer values, fixed pricing, mixing ratios, and freight rates for costs. In addition, this position will have ad hoc reporting and other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor s degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of experience with an emphasis on financial analysis and reporting.

Broad knowledge of Tysons segments and business structure is a plus.

Computer Skills:  Requires intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Tyson Financial Reporting AFE Tableau and SharePoint preferred.

Special Skills: Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact with key management leadership at all levels.
