Mission
The Director of Marketing is responsible for driving profitable growth by aligning Marketing, Sales, Service, Parts, Customer Experience, and Brand Strategy. Through cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, and data-driven decision making, this role develops and executes integrated marketing strategies that generate qualified leads, strengthen the Alpin Haus brand, enhance the customer experience, and achieves company and departmental goals.

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

- Develop annual marketing strategies and promotional calendars that align with company goals, product priorities, seasonal trends, and growth objectives.
- Partner with Sales, Service, and Parts leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies that support departmental goals, drive revenue, improve customer retention, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Partner across departments to create a consistent, seamless customer experience before, during, and after the sale that strengthens customer satisfaction, builds loyalty, and increases customer lifetime value.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives across all product categories, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with company objectives.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support sales through digital marketing, promotions, merchandising, events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, including graphic design, video, photography, website content, social media, email marketing, and other promotional materials.
- Develop, monitor, and optimize key performance metrics that connect marketing investment to business results, including website traffic, lead generation, appointments, conversion, sales, revenue, customer retention, and return on marketing investment (ROMI), using data to drive continuous improvement and profitable growth.
- Lead and develop the Marketing Department by coaching and developing team members, improving processes, fostering accountability, encouraging innovation, leveraging AI and emerging technologies, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
- Leads organizational change by challenging the status quo, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving adoption of new ideas, technologies, and best practices.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets while maximizing return on investment and ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Build and manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, digital vendors, and industry partners to ensure exceptional service, value, and performance.
- Protect and strengthen the Alpin Haus brand by ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and an outstanding customer experience across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
This position leads and develops the Marketing Department by providing vision, coaching, direction, and accountability. Responsibilities include hiring, training, assigning and prioritizing work, managing workloads and projects, evaluating performance, supporting professional development, and addressing employee performance issues in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience.
- Experience managing multiple brands, product lines, or locations preferred.
- Experience with CRM, digital advertising, marketing automation, and analytics platforms required.
- 2+ years of leadership or project management experience.
- Understands how marketing impacts sales, profitability, customer retention, and long-term business growth.
- Uses market trends, customer insights, and business data to develop effective marketing strategies.
- Thinks like a business leader by connecting marketing strategy directly to sales performance, customer retention, operational priorities, and long-term profitable growth.
- Makes informed decisions using data and sound judgment.
- Builds strong partnerships with Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, and Operations to achieve shared goals.
- Effectively manages multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

- Keeps the customer experience at the center of all marketing initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of integrated digital marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, analytics, AI-enabled marketing tools, omnichannel customer engagement, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Analytics.

- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and repetitive hand movements.

- Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and travel between company locations, events, and vendor sites is required.
