Summary
As a Custom Software Engineering Senior Analyst-Consultant, a typical day involves designing, developing, and supporting high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. The role requires building scalable backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless application delivery through modern DevOps practices. The position focuses on delivering robust software solutions, enhancing application reliability, and driving continuous improvement across development and deployment processes. The candidate will contribute to system design, automation, and cloud-native development initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and contribute effectively to project deliverables.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
Build and support scalable microservices and RESTful APIs to meet business requirements.
Work with relational databases (RDBMS) to design, optimize, and manage data solutions.
Implement and maintain CI-CD pipelines using Jenkins and DevOps best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Contribute to cloud adoption, containerization, and automation initiatives across projects.
Professional & Technical Skills
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
Experience in developing RESTful services and microservices-based applications.
Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD implementation and release automation.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Good To Have Skills: AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Familiarity with cloud-native application development and container orchestration platforms.
Additional Information
The candidate should have minimum 5 years and maximum 8 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
This position is based at our Mumbai or Pune office, with Pune preferred.
Preferred working hours are 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
