Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineering Manager leads a team of electrical engineers developing complex aerospace electronics, providing technical guidance and oversight. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership and management for product development and sustaining programs and activities
- Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Plan and manage the deployment of resources for multiple projects
- Establish and monitor department budgets
- Encourage and provide opportunities for continued relevant technical training
- Provide technical assistance to Business Development to win new business and drive company growth
- Provide the appropriate skill mix to sustain and grow the business and to meet customer requirements
- Manage the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, components, and products to ensure compliance with industry standards (such as MIL-PRF-38534).
- Develop, enhance and maintain a core team as well as an external network of consultants, contractors and suppliers to support product development
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the electrical engineering team, ensuring best practices in DC-DC design, power systems, and hybrid circuit technologies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical designs, including thermal management, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and radiation effects.
- Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management
Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years’ related experience. 2 years’ supervisory experience; Demonstrated experience with relevant standards and practices;
- Knowledge: Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish goals based on extensive experience and judgment; Demonstrated ADVANCED skills in all of the following responsibilities: employee development, team building, business acumen, continuous improvement, systems and tools, project management and communication (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of circuit design and architecture development.
- Education/Certification: BSEE or related field.

Salary range: $168,445.20 - $202,021. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
