Application Specialist (Field Service Engineer) – Industrial Coating Systems

As an Application Specialist (Field Service Engineer), you will provide technical support, training, system commissioning, and application expertise to customers across the EMEA region. You will play a key role in helping customers maximize the performance of their equipment while building long-term relationships and supporting business growth.

Role and Responsibilities 

• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers across the EMEA region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and system performance. 

• Conduct equipment audits, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide recommendations that help customers optimize their manufacturing processes. 

• Install, commission, and support industrial coating and dispensing systems at customer locations. 

• Deliver technical training to customer operators and maintenance teams to ensure effective use and maintenance of equipment. 

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while serving as a trusted technical advisor. 

• Support the sales team by identifying opportunities for spare parts, upgrades, and service improvements. 

• Plan customer visits efficiently and maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and CRM records. 

• Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, customer service, and technical support teams across Europe and North America. 

Skills and Qualifications 

• Electrical qualification or electrician certification.

• 3+ years of technical experience (or equivalent technical background).

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

• Customer-oriented mindset.

• Fluent English.

• Willingness to travel extensively.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.

Travel 

• This is a highly customer-facing position requiring approximately 80% travel across the EMEA region. 

• A valid driving license is required. 

• Travel may include a combination of driving and air travel depending on customer location.
