Senior Director of Employment and Vocational Services
Schedule: Full-time
Wage: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
Location: Position will be based in Cortland and support Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Madison, and Tioga Counties

Job Description
The Senior Director of Employment and Vocational Services provides strategic and administrative leadership for ACHIEVE's employment and vocational programs, including ACCES-VR, OPWDD Community Pre-Vocational Services, and Supported Employment services.
- Provide administrative oversight of employment and vocational services, ensuring compliance with OPWDD, ACCES-VR, OMIG, Medicaid, and other State and Federal regulations
- Lead program operations, including service planning, documentation, billing, and quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Employment and Self Direction on strategic planning, program development, budgeting, and operational initiatives
- Monitor program performance and implement corrective action plans as necessary
- Supervise program coordinators and department staff
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, and staffing decisions
- Review and approve staff time sheets, leave requests, and overtime usage
- Conduct documentation and billing audits
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners and employers
- Represent ACHIEVE on community boards and committees
- Develop and facilitate staff training opportunities
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or another Human Services field and three (3) years of administrative or supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field and five (5) years of administrative or supervisory experience including vocational/employment services experience
- Strong knowledge of OPWDD services and compliance requirements
- Supervisory and/or program management experience
- Valid driver’s license meeting agency insurance requirements
