Meet the Team

Cisco is seeking a Senior Marketing Leader for AI Growth Strategy to lead global product marketing and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our next-generation AI and secure infrastructure portfolio. This executive leadership role operates at the intersection of AI innovation, product strategy, and category creation, defining how Cisco positions, launches, and scales the foundational infrastructure, security, and data platforms powering global AI. As a primary orchestrator, you will partner closely with AI Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing leadership to solve complex enterprise challenges, build commercial solutions, and solidify Cisco's position as the architectural backbone for enterprise AI. You will lead a dynamic, cross-functional team focused on transforming how global enterprises connect, secure, and accelerate AI workloads from data center to cloud to edge.

Your Impact

As the Senior Director of Product Marketing - AI Growth Strategy, your focus is the GTM engine for Cisco's AI and secure infrastructure solutions, including the overarching narrative, tier-1 launches, competitive positioning, customer proof points, and field activation motions that drive market leadership and growth. You will collaborate across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Partner Ecosystems, Analyst Relations, and Executive Leadership to translate technical AI innovations into market narratives, field confidence, and measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and executing the global product marketing and go-to-market strategy for Cisco's AI-ready infrastructure and security portfolios.
  • Defining differentiated messaging, positioning, and value propositions for Cisco's role in the enterprise, tailoring narratives from executive buyers to technical practitioners and global partners.
  • Shaping the market conversation around transforming the network for modern enterprise demands.
  • Driving launches, campaigns, and major market moments that impact competitive momentum and customer confidence.
  • Partnering with product management to connect roadmap innovation to customer outcomes and integrating market insight back into roadmap and commercialization discussions.
  • Identifying GTM strategies that help Cisco shape the infrastructure and security portfolio, including new audience strategies, buying-center motions, and customer proof points.
  • Utilizing AI-native workflows to accelerate insight generation, messaging iteration, content creation, and measurement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience across product marketing, product management, technical marketing, product strategy, sales engineering, or GTM leadership in enterprise technology.
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading product marketing, product, technical, or GTM teams with a track record of execution and team development.
  • 5+ years of experience leading GTM strategy for complex enterprise products, platforms, or portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to connect messaging, launch strategy, sales enablement, and marketing execution to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in networking, cybersecurity, secure access, cloud security, identity, observability, or AI-related infrastructure/security markets.
  • Product management or product strategy background, with interest in applying product depth to GTM strategy and market creation.
  • Experience building executive-level thought leadership and differentiated category narratives.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization and influencing product, sales, marketing, partner, analyst, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience with pipeline, bookings, win/loss, attach, adoption, competitive, and customer engagement metrics.
