Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center is hiring a Diesel Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our fast-paced, high-volume shop. This role is perfect for customer-focused professionals who enjoy problem-solving, coordinating repairs, and delivering excellent service to truck drivers, fleet operators, and commercial vehicle customers.
As a Service Advisor, you are the key link between our customers and diesel technicians, ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and a smooth service experience from start to finish.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers professionally, assessing their service needs.
- Accurately document repair orders and service requests.
- Communicate with technicians to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and schedules.
- Provide clear, timely updates to customers on repair status, timelines, and costs.
- Recommend additional services based on vehicle condition and customer needs.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure accurate documentation in management systems.
- Support shop workflow to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service that builds trust and repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume diesel service environment.
- Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to think quickly and solve problems effectively.
- Comfortable using computers and service management software.
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Diesel Service Writer, Automotive Advisor, or Customer Service Representative is a plus but not required.
