Your day to day: 

You'll be one of our two Lead Data Analysts. You'll work alongside Andy (our other Lead Data Analyst), as well as Jenny and Juanma, to complete our analytics leadership team. 

As one of our most senior analysts, you'll bring deep technical skill and a real feel for how analytics shapes the business. You'll make the team better, supporting everyone around you to do their best work. Around 60 to 70% of your time goes on hands-on work. The rest goes on peer review and coaching. 

• Partner with a business team on projects with real commercial impact. For example, one of the team built price elasticity tools that help Trading spot pricing gaps and opportunities. 
• Meet those partners halfway, connecting them with the data they need. They know their numbers inside out, but not our data platform. 
• Help set our standards for how we code, review and share our work. 
• Build reusable workflows and tools, and bring in new ones that help the team work better. 
• Help us use AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT well, checking accuracy so people can trust the results. 
• Manage and coach two analysts, supporting them to grow and deliver work that matters. 

Who are you: 

• Significant experience in data analysis (typically 5+ years), with a track record of work that made a measurable difference. 
• You know SQL inside out, you've worked with GCP or another cloud data warehouse, and you've built tools others use every day. 
• Hands-on experience using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT in your work, and helping others use them well. 
• You enjoy working together with business teams and understanding how they think. 
• Experience coaching or mentoring other analysts, formally or informally. 
• It's a bonus if you have insurance experience, or have used Power BI, dbt or Python.
