Communication Specialist

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Communication Specialist will plan and implement effective communication initiatives by developing relevant content and utilising appropriate channels and platforms. Working closely with Regional Marketing, the role ensures alignment with corporate identity, attracts customers, and supports strategic priorities.

Based in Jabodetabek, this position reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage integrated communication programs across mass media, digital platforms, and other relevant channels to strengthen brand visibility, awareness, and corporate image.
• Plan and deliver communication content and materials for various stakeholders, including press releases, presentations, publications, websites, videos, social media, and other communication platforms.
• Manage digital communication platforms and campaigns, ensuring effective content, design, usability, and consistency with Jotun’s corporate identity and brand guidelines.
• Plan and manage marketing events, branding, sponsorships, and public relations activities to enhance brand presence and support the company’s strategic objectives.
• Advise and support internal and external communications, including media handling, issue and risk communication, to ensure consistent and professional messaging that protects and strengthens Jotun’s reputation.
• Manage and coordinate external agencies and partners for advertising, public relations, creative materials, events, videos, web, and social media deliverables, ensuring quality, creativity, and compliance with company guidelines.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

Required

• Bachelor's / master's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field
• At least two years of working experience in communications strategy development
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English, both oral and written

Preferred

• Content writing experience for all media platforms
• Proven social media and networking expertise
• Has own car and able to drive
