Head of Contract Managment, SAAB Underwater Systems

Your role

As Head of Contract Management, you will lead a team of approximately 15 employees, responsible for a broad range of business-critical activities throughout the entire customer lifecycle. The team includes specialists within contract management, bid and proposal work, cost estimation, planning, and business analysis.

Together with your team, you will support business growth, ensure effective contract execution, and provide valuable insights for decision-making across the organization.

You will also be a member of the Product Unit Management Team.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of highly skilled professionals.
• Driving contract management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting business opportunities through bid and proposal management as well as cost estimation.
• Ensuring high-quality planning and execution support for ongoing programs and projects.
• Leading and developing processes related to Resource Capacity Management (RCM).
• Providing and enhancing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Building strong partnerships with program management, engineering, finance, supply chain, and customer organizations.
• Contributing to the continuous development of tools, processes, and ways of working.

• Proven leadership experience, either as a people manager or in a senior leadership role.
• Experience from contract management, business management, project management, commercial management, or similar areas.
• Strong business understanding and analytical skills.
• The ability to communicate clearly and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• A structured approach combined with the flexibility to manage changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

 
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
