What you'll be doing
Our Unsecured & Auto Lending team shapes lending solutions that help clients meet their borrowing needs while supporting strong business performance. As the Senior Director, Unsecured Lending, you'll lead the end-to-end product lifecycle and P&L performance for unsecured personal lines of credit, unsecured personal loans, and a broad portfolio of related programs and product variants. You'll balance near-term plan delivery with longer-term strategy, using data, market insight, and innovation to evolve the portfolio and improve client outcomes. In this role, you'll lead product, pricing, acquisition, account management, and operational strategies to optimize risk-adjusted profitability, client experience, and efficiency. You'll work closely with partners across Risk, Analytics, Marketing, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Retail teams to strengthen performance and support thoughtful growth. You'll also build and develop a high-performing team, creating the conditions for strong execution, collaboration, and accountability.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Strengthen portfolio decisions - Review current and emerging product opportunities, assess portfolio performance, and recommend enhancements, rationalization, or expansion based on client needs, market conditions, and business priorities.
Lead cross-functional execution - Partner with Marketing, Risk, Analytics, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to deliver campaigns, optimize processes, and improve client and business outcomes.
Embed risk and regulatory discipline - Ensure risk management, compliance, and regulatory considerations are integrated into strategic planning, product design, and day-to-day decision-making.
Develop high-performing teams - Lead, coach, and inspire Product Directors and Managers by setting clear direction, supporting development, and fostering an inclusive, high-accountability culture.
