Business Analyst - Manager

As a Business Analyst Manager, you won’t just document requirements, you’ll help shape meaningful, human centered solutions powered by data and AI. You’ll partner with clients, designers, engineers, and product teams to deeply understand user needs, translate them into impactful solutions, and deliver outcomes that are both intuitive for people and intelligent through technology. Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis and Requirements:

• Elicit, define and manage functional and non-functional requirements with strong traceability
• Translate business needs into user stories, process models, and system level specifications
• Create clear, structured documentation and artefacts that enable delivery teams
• Facilitate workshops, refinements and co-design sessions with stakeholders, delivery teams and end users
• Lead discovery and business analysis workstreams across transformation programmes, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology solution and measurable outcomes
• Provide thought leadership on requirements management, governance and business analysis best practices across client engagements
• Coach and mentor Business Analyst and delivery team members, uplifting capability and delivery excellence

Process and Solution Design:

• Analyse and redesign end to end business processes with a focus on process gaps, efficiency and experience
• Ensure solutions balance user desirability, business viability and technical feasibility
• Prototype and validate solutions to ensure alignment with user and business needs
• Advise clients on AI, automation and digital transformation opportunities to improve business performance and employee experience
• Partner with Solution Architects and Product Leaders to ensure solution designs align with strategic business objectives
• Drive value identification, benefits realisation and measurable business outcomes throughout the transformation lifecycle
  

Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation:

• Lead executive level stakeholder engagement, influencing decision making across business and technology leadership teams
• Build trusted advisor relationships with clients and act as a strategic partner throughout transformation initiatives
• Guide organisations through business change and adoption

Agile Delivery:

• Work within Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence
• Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning and iterative delivery
• Drive prioritisation decisions based on customer value, business impact strategic objective
• Support programme and portfolio level planning activities across multiple workstreams where required

AI-Enabled Business Analyst

• Leverage AI tools (e.g. M365 Copilot) to enhance analysis, documentation and insight generation
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve quality and efficiency of outputs. Design AI-enabled workflows and requirements approaches
• Shape AI strategies and identify opportunities for responsible adoption of generative AI capabilities
• Facilitate AI use case discovery workshops and assist clients in defining AI roadmaps and business cases

Skills & Experiences

Core Skill:

• Extensive experience leading cross functional business analysis activities across large scale digital, data, AI or business transformation programmes
• Demonstrated experience delivering Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions and developing AI agents (mandatory)
• Ability to apply human centered design or design thinking approaches
• Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and tools

AI and Future Ready Capability:

• Familiarity with AI tools and applied use cases in business contexts
• Experience using tools like M365 Copilot for productivity and analysis

Understanding of:

• Prompt engineering
• AI-assisted requirements workflows
• Responsible AI practices

Qualifications:

• IIBA, CBAP or PMI-PBA, SAFe or equivalent certifications preferred
• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Copilot, Power Platforms or Azure AI highly regarded
