Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission. The Role: Across high-growth specialty chemical markets, Entegris plays a critical role in delivering the purity, reliability, and operational discipline required by customers in Life Sciences, Advanced Catalysts, Semiconductor, and other technical applications. As the Specialty Chemicals business continues to scale, strong multi-site manufacturing leadership is essential to delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. To support this momentum, we are seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations, Specialty Chemicals to join our Operations Leadership team. This role will lead manufacturing operations across the Specialty Chemicals network, with responsibility for our facilities in Toronto, Ambler, and Riegelwood, providing leadership to site operations teams and driving disciplined execution across safety, quality, delivery, cost, customer service, and operational efficiency. The Director of Manufacturing Operations will play a critical role in strengthening the Specialty Chemicals manufacturing platform and building a high-performing, connected multi-site organization. Success in this role will be defined by sustained improvement in EHS performance, manufacturing reliability, customer fulfillment, productivity, and leadership capability across the three-facility network. What You’ll Do: Set the Safety First agenda across the Specialty Chemicals manufacturing network, strengthening EHS ownership, risk reduction, compliance, and a proactive safety culture across Toronto, Ambler, and Riegelwood. Act as the primary operational partner to the Specialty Chemicals leadership team, translating business priorities into manufacturing strategies, resource plans, and execution discipline across the three-site network. Lead the overall manufacturing strategy for the three-site network, ensuring operational priorities, resources, and execution plans are aligned to business growth, customer commitments, and financial objectives. Drive production ramp-up readiness and manufacturing scalability for new and existing products, ensuring disciplined alignment across Operations, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams. Advance a network-wide continuous improvement roadmap focused on debottlenecking, OEE improvement, yield, cycle time, labor productivity, cost performance, and reliable customer fulfillment. Identify and prioritize capacity, equipment, process, and organizational constraints, translating them into clear execution plans that improve throughput, asset utilization, and long-term manufacturing capability. Establish operating discipline through clear performance management, KPI visibility, structured escalation, and accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and service performance across the network. Strengthen cross-functional execution by partnering with site leaders, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to resolve operational risks and support strategic business priorities. Define and deliver success through measurable improvement in safety, ramp-up readiness, OEE maturity, CI/debottlenecking, capital execution, customer fulfillment, productivity, and leadership capability across the Specialty Chemicals network. Build leadership capability and a high-performing operations organization by developing site leadership, reinforcing standard work, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What We Seek: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Operations, or related field required; advanced degree preferred, with 10+ years of progressive manufacturing, operations, or supply chain leadership experience in specialty chemicals, semiconductor or other technical manufacturing environments. Proven multi-site operations leadership experience, with accountability for safety, quality, service, cost, productivity, resource planning, and operational performance. Demonstrated ability to build and mature manufacturing operating systems, including OEE, KPI governance, capacity visibility, labor planning, structured performance reviews, and standard work. Strong track record driving CI, debottlenecking, yield improvement, cycle time reduction, throughput expansion, cost/productivity improvement, and capital execution. Ability to translate business priorities into manufacturing strategies and influence across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Product Management, and Commercial teams. Proven ability to develop site leaders, build accountable teams, and lead through influence in a matrixed global organization. Experience with ERP/MRP systems, SAP preferred; familiarity with manufacturing performance systems, data analytics, and digital tools is a plus. Willingness to travel regularly across Toronto, Ambler, and Riegelwood, with additional travel as business needs require. This position requires approximately 50% travel to support operations and leadership activities across the Specialty Chemicals manufacturing network.
