This Position reports to:

Accounting & Reporting Manager - Account

 

Roles and responsibilities:

• Manage credit operations across 70+ countries with 65,000+ customers, with authorization limits up to 200K USD (large), 100K USD (medium), or 50K USD (small countries)
• Assess creditworthiness and credit ratings for new customers and conduct annual/monthly reviews for existing customers in assigned portfolio
• Analyze financial and non-financial information to develop credit profiles, make recommendations, and support business partnerships
• Monitor customer portfolios, manage credit limit exceedances, and coordinate with sales and business teams on credit issues and escalations
• Participate in Credit Circle sessions with global stakeholders including Global Credit Risk Management leadership and process owners
• Ensure compliance with Global Credit Policy and provide feedback on risk mitigation practices across ABB
• Support system implementation and process improvements in collaboration with SAP4HANA specialists and credit management tools

Qualification for the role:

• 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, credit control, or similar Credit Specialist roles within a global organization.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Financial Audit, or a related field.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and credit bureau reports.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present and explain credit risks effectively.
• Experience in credit risk assessment and governance, ensuring receivables are secured and risks are appropriately managed.
• Proven capability to collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates high accuracy, attention to detail, proactive mindset, and continuous improvement focus, including credit process enhancement.
• Fluent English communication skills are required; knowledge of European languages, SAP S/4HANA, and professional credit risk certifications are advantageous
