The TIAA Enterprise Analytics & Retirement Strategy & Rotational Associate Program is a full-time, two-year early-career experience for individuals graduating in 2027. Associates complete four six-month rotations across distinct Retirement Strategy & (RS) & TIAA Enterprise Analytics (TEA) opportunity areas, contributing to meaningful business work while developing breadth across analytics, strategy, data, and execution.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Rotational Associates will take ownership of defined workstreams and deliverables within each assignment, collaborating with data scientists, analysts, strategists, business leaders, and cross-functional partners. Responsibilities will increase in scope and independence as associates progress through the program.

Responsibilities across the four rotations may include:

  • Gathering, cleaning, validating, integrating, and analyzing data to answer business questions and support client, participant, and enterprise outcomes
  • Building and enhancing dashboards, recurring reports, data visualizations, analytical tools, and scalable self-service solutions using SQL, Python or R, Excel, and BI platforms
  • Applying descriptive statistics, exploratory analysis, forecasting, experimentation, or predictive methods to identify trends, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
  • Documenting data sources, metric definitions, analytical methods, assumptions, controls, and quality checks to strengthen trust and reproducibility
  • Translating complex findings into clear insights, recommendations, executive-ready presentations, and decision-support materials
  • Managing assigned workstreams by establishing objectives, work plans, milestones, dependencies, measures of success, and stakeholder updates
  • Partnering with analytics, product, distribution, operations, technology, digital experience, marketing, advice, wealth, and Retirement leaders to define problems and implement solutions
  • Supporting Retirement Solutions and TRAC five-year planning through market research, competitive intelligence, client insights, analytics-backed prioritization, and opportunity assessment
  • Contributing to strategic roadmaps, governance forums, pilots, test-and-learn initiatives, and tracking of risks, decisions, delivery, and outcomes
