Job Description

Essential Responsibilities 

• Define and communicate product vision, goals, and priorities for assigned capabilities and workstreams. 

• Partner with stakeholders across business, operations, technology, risk, and compliance to understand needs and identify opportunities. 

• Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear product requirements and prioritized backlog items. 

• Lead discovery efforts to validate assumptions, understand pain points, and identify high-value opportunities. 

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and UX teams to define solutions that are valuable, feasible, and sustainable. 

• Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term product strategy and platform objectives. 

• Establish success measures and use data, customer feedback, and operational insights to guide decisions. 

• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, roadmap discussions, and release planning activities. 

• Drive alignment across multiple teams working toward shared business outcomes. 

• Communicate product direction, progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership. 

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
• Experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, program leadership, or a related discipline.  

• Experience defining requirements and working with Agile delivery teams. 

• Experience managing priorities across multiple stakeholders and competing objectives. 

• Experience translating business problems into actionable solutions. 

Preferred Skills / Experience 

• Experience leading product initiatives involving enterprise platforms, digital applications, or customer-facing capabilities. 

• Strong understanding of product discovery, product strategy, and roadmap development. 

• Ability to break complex business processes into manageable product capabilities and iterative delivery plans. 

• Experience working closely with software engineering, architecture, and UX teams. 

• Knowledge of Agile product management techniques, backlog management, and story refinement. 
• Experience using metrics, customer feedback, and operational data to guide prioritization and decision making. 

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Experience navigating large-scale organizational change and transformation initiatives. 

• Familiarity with banking, payments, commercial card, treasury, financial services, or regulated industries is beneficial but not required. 

• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. 

• Preference to have BFS exp
