What You Will Do *

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis VMC & Router machining operations, as well as sheet metal part programming, using CAM applications such as Mastercam, UG NX, and RADAN.
• Plan and support machining processes including milling, drilling, grooving, tapping, threading, and waterjet cutting.
• Prepare, review, and validate manufacturing process documentation (work instructions and SOPs).
• Collaborate with shop-floor teams to support job setup, clamping, tooling selection, and process improvements.
• Use Siemens NX (UG NX) and Teamcenter to extract dimensional data and validate 3D CAD models.
• Select cutting tools using machining parameters based on materials and aerospace manufacturing standards.
• Support tooling, jigs, fixtures, and tool-holding design activities.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to ensure manufacturing accuracy.
• Coordinate with quality and production teams to maintain compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Utilize ERP/SAP systems for production planning and manufacturing tracking.

Qualifications You Must Have *

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and CAM programming.
• Practical knowledge of 3-axis or 5-axis machining operations.
• Experience with CAM software, preferably Mastercam and NX.
• Understanding of machining processes and cutting parameters.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with shop-floor tooling, setups, and manufacturing workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working with aerospace or high-precision engineering components.
• Exposure to AS9100 quality management systems.
• Hands-on experience with CNC Lathe, VMC/HMC machines and controllers.
• Knowledge of jigs, fixtures, and tool-holding systems.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques.
• Experience with ERP/SAP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of engineering materials and their applications.
• Experience using Teamcenter PLM systems.
