About the opportunity

This role provides professional occupational therapy leadership to MMH&WS staff and promotes best clinical practice of MMH&WS occupational therapists.

The position also has a role in contributing to mental health service development, including membership of relevant leadership and governance meetings. Providing high level advice to the Mental Health leadership on mental health professional occupational therapist standards, workforce requirements and associated clinical service delivery.

• Promote the provision of best clinical practice of occupational therapist and other direct-care staff through professional and clinical skill development
• Ensure the provision of professional mentorship, discipline specific supervision and support to mental health occupational therapists
• Represent occupational therapists on the required MMH&WS committees, or as delegated

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
