Description
The Senior Instructional Designer (ID) will be responsible for the execution of Courseware Development plans and for the design and development of course material. The IDs will work with the Content Development team to identify courseware development requirements and provide professional skill, knowledge, and advice necessary to enable the team to develop course material.

Responsibilities
- Excellent content research and analytical skills to convert information and learner needs into performance-based, engaging, and practical training solutions
- Creates design documents and storyboards for digital and non-digital learning assets for both online and classroom delivery.
- Superior writing skills, including the ability to write concise, creative, and effective instruction
- Works closely with clients to conduct working sessions and review sessions and to address needs and resolve issues as required.
- Able to accept and incorporate constructive criticism
- Proven record for on-time, high-quality delivery
- Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines and prioritize tasks to effectively juggle multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills with subject matter experts, clients, managers, and team members
- Must have an undergraduate university degree with a major in one of the following fields - Education, Adult Learning, Distance Learning or eLearning
- Must have 5 years' experience in instructional design
- Experience with Addie / SAM methodologies and tools such as Lectora, Captivate and/or Articulate is required
- Experience working with IT content would be beneficial.
- Formal Project Management experience considered an asset
