What you'll do...
Role summary:The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures. This role requires diagnosing issues, utilizing multiple craft skills, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The technician manages work orders, coordinates with contractors, and maintains accurate documentation. Operating heavy machinery and responding to emergency calls are essential functions. The position supports continuous improvement efforts and collaborates with teams to maintain safe, efficient operations aligned with company policies and business priorities.

What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures following established schedules and guidelines.
- Inspect, clean, and test equipment to diagnose issues and determine replacement needs to minimize future repairs.
- Utilize multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling to complete repairs.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts ordering, and documentation accurately.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies throughout all tasks.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment and facility systems.
- Proficiency in multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and powered equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and promote workplace safety.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.Option 2: 4 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
