Position Summary
Panera is seeking a IT Technical Analyst to join our technology team. This role supports business and technical operations by assisting with system administration, application support, troubleshooting, and technology initiatives. The IT Technical Analyst serves as a liaison between business users and IT teams, helping to identify requirements, resolve technical issues, and support the delivery of reliable technology solutions.
Location: St. Louis, MO (hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and update Jira tickets, user stories, tasks, defects, and epics to support project delivery and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, document acceptance criteria, and track work through Jira workflows.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives using Jira.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and dependencies utilizing Jira dashboards and reports.
- Provide first-level technical support for business applications, systems, and end users.
- Assist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Support application deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist with software testing, user acceptance testing, and validation activities.
- Help maintain system integrations and support cloud-based applications.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis activities.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
- Assist with software releases, upgrades, and production deployments.
- Maintain technical WIKI documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with project teams to support technology initiatives and deliverables.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in IT support, technical analysis, systems administration, or a related technical role.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with troubleshooting applications, systems, and technical issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). GCP preferred
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and CI/CD processes.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and web applications.
- Experience with ticketing and IT service management tools.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
