Overview
The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of associates in a fast-paced, multi-client fulfillment operation. This role oversees daily execution across safety, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, customer service, employee engagement, and service-level performance. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on fulfillment experience across multiple business channels, including B2C, B2B, omni-channel fulfillment, wholesale, retail, and e-commerce fulfillment. The Fulfillment Supervisor works closely with site leadership, support teams, and client-facing partners to ensure operational excellence, consistent execution, and overall facility success.
What you will do:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 - 20 hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse and fulfillment environment
- Support multiple fulfillment channels, including B2C, B2B, omni-channel fulfillment, wholesale, retail, and e-commerce order profiles
- Oversee daily fulfillment activities, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, quality checks, staging, shipping, and returns as assigned
- Partner with internal teams and clients to support supply chain needs, fulfillment requirements, and service-level expectations
- Drive performance by meeting or exceeding productivity standards, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, shipping deadlines, and cost control expectations
- Monitor fulfillment KPIs such as order fill rate, pick accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time shipment, dock-to-stock time, units per hour, and service-level compliance
- Use WMS/OMS reporting and operational data to identify gaps, resolve issues, adjust labor, and support daily decision-making
- Promote LEAN principles, continuous improvement, and a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment while supporting SCLS corporate safety goals
- Communicate expectations, priorities, performance updates, and improvement opportunities clearly and consistently
- Conduct performance discussions, annual reviews, and associate development conversations as needed
Our ideal candidate will have…
- 2+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, logistics, or e-commerce operations, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage change
- Hands-on experience supporting fulfillment operations for B2C, B2B, omni-channel fulfillment, wholesale, retail, or multi-client distribution environments
- Strong knowledge of order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, shipping, returns, inventory control, order accuracy, and service-level expectations
- Experience using WMS/OMS systems and operational reporting to manage performance, labor planning, inventory accuracy, customer requirements, and daily execution
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, motivate associates, and communicate priorities clearly
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to remove obstacles and drive results
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on safety, quality, productivity, and customer service
- Strong organization, follow-up, and multitasking skills with the flexibility to support changing business needs
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse technology systems
It’s not required, but it would be even better if you have…
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or related field
- Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or process improvement training and experience
- Experience in a 3PL, multi-client, e-commerce, small-parcel, retail, wholesale, or omni-channel fulfillment environment
- Experience with small parcel carriers, routing guides, compliance requirements, labeling, ASN/EDI expectations, and customer-specific fulfillment requirements
- Supply chain, logistics, or third-party logistics experience is strongly preferred
SALARY LEVEL
- $70,000.00 – $76,000.00 Salary is commensurate to experience and location.
