We're looking for a Studio Manager / Head Trainer to help launch the studio, build an incredible member community, and play a key leadership role from day one.This is a unique opportunity to join a growing boutique fitness brand at an exciting stage of growth and have a direct impact on the success of a new location.OverviewStarFit Studio is looking for a Studio Manager / Head Trainer who is passionate about coaching, community, and creating an exceptional client experience.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both coaching (approximately 15-20 hours per week) and supporting the day-to-day operations of the studio. This person will serve as the standard-bearer for coaching excellence while helping drive member experience, team performance, and studio success.The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coaching on the floor, building relationships with members, supporting staff development, and handling the day-to-day responsibilities that keep a busy studio running smoothly.DutiesSales, Community & Member ExperienceLead studio outreach efforts including lead followup and membership salesConduct consultations and help prospective clients find the right fit for their goalsBuild strong relationships with members from day one, ensuring every client feels welcomed, supported and connected to the communityOwn the new client experience, including first visit introductions, check ins, milestone celebrations, and ongoing engagementSupport member retention through consistent communication, relationship building, and expectional hospitalityCreate a positive, inclusive, high energy studio environment that keeps members excited to returnIdentify opportunities to improve the overall client experience and strengthen studio cultureCoachingTrain 15-20 hours per week, delivering high-energy, results-driven sessions aligned with the StarFit brand (mix of small group and semi private sessions)Set the standard for coaching quality, energy, and client connectionStudio ManagementSupport onboarding and development of new trainersServe as the go-to person for filling gaps in the coaching scheduleMaintain flexibility in availability (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends) to support the needs of the businessHelp ensure all sessions are consistently staffed with high-quality coachesStudio OperationsAssist with day-to-day studio operations, including inventory, organization, and cleanlinessHelp manage promotions, and client communicationsRespond to client questions or concerns in a timely and professional mannerSupport local outreach and community-building efforts as neededAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssist ownership with ongoing projects and studio initiativesHelp ensure the studio space and equipment are always clean, organized, and fully functionalProvide ongoing feedback and mentorship to coaching staffLead by example and help elevate the overall performance of the teamWhat We’re Looking ForPassion for fitness, coaching, and helping people feel their bestStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop othersReliable, adaptable, and solutions-oriented - especially under pressureComfortable leading group classes in a high-energy environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsTeam player with a positive, proactive attitudeExperience & QualificationsCertified Personal Trainer (or equivalent education)1–3+ years of group fitness coaching experience preferredManagement experience in a boutique fitness environment is a plusCPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)Comfortable with scheduling tools, basic spreadsheets, and studio systemsSchedule & ExpectationsFull-time role (~40 hours/week including coaching)Approximately 20 coaching hours per weekFlexible availability required, including early mornings, evenings, and weekendsAbility to step in and cover sessions as neededAbility to assist across multiple locations when neededCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $55,000-$60,000 based on experience + Monthly bonus opportunities based on performanceComplimentary StarFit membershipOpportunity to play a key leadership role in a growing boutique fitness companySupportive, team-oriented environmentAbout StarFit StudioStarFit Studio is a private fitness studio built for women.
