Role summary:The Staff Software Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks. This role requires ownership of the full software lifecycle, ensuring quality through system design reviews and adherence to cloud-native architecture principles. The engineer will collaborate across teams to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions, mentor peers, and drive continuous improvement. What you'll do:
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
- Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
- Conduct system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with project goals.
- Build AI-driven applications and integrate machine learning components using multiple programming languages.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to define success metrics and optimize development processes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tools, processes, and product quality.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
- Strong experience in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping to develop secure, maintainable, and modular solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, or C++.
- Demonstrated ability to lead full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and monitoring.
- Skilled in conducting system design reviews and applying data-driven decision making to optimize engineering outcomes.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions to promote engineering excellence and sustainability.
- Effective collaboration skills to communicate complex technical concepts across teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
