Job Description
Where you’ll fit in & what our team goals are…You role includes the management of UK Real Estate Insurance programme, including new acquisition process and annual renewals, oversight of key UK broker performance and supporting the strategic direction of the team.
How you'll spend your time...
Management of the UK Real Estate Insurance programme including, but not limited to:
- Onboarding new acquisitions and offboarding disposals
- Running the annual and quarterly Property renewal processes
- Ad hoc policy placements as required by the UK Real Estate business, e.g., Contract Works, Legal Indemnities, Environmental etc.
Overseeing the performance of key vendors, including brokers, claims handlers and insurance valuers and driving service improvements through regular contract reviews.
Management of the Risk Management Information System for the Insurance & Risk Financing team, including the creation of efficiencies and development of performance reporting (such as loss ratio & rate benchmarking)
Assisting the Senior Director, Insurance & Financing in the provision of risk and insurance advice to TAM Corporate departments. This includes interaction with Legal, RFP and Communications as required.
Undertaking tender processes as required by the activities of the Insurance & Risk Financing team.
Handling general insurance and risk management queries from solicitors/tenants/Managing Agents etc.
Supporting the integration of the European Real Estate insurance programme, where feasible.
Promoting risk management throughout the Company in respect of both client and operational properties.
To be successful in this role you will have...
Experience of risk management and insurance in the context of a financial services organisation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Comprehensive understanding of insurance products and policies
Strong project management and organizational skills, particularly for tender processes
Ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Accurate financial/analytical reporting skills for use in renewal presentations
Open-minded and innovative thinker who challenges vendors to provide optimal service options
Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office applications

Working towards or gained ACII qualification
Degree or professional equivalent
