Role Summary
As the Senior Human Resources Generalist (onsite, full-time) in Oshkosh, WI, you will ensure HR policies and practices are current, consistently applied, and compliant, while supporting a manufacturing workforce with professionalism and discretion.
Key responsibilities include employee relations and investigations; coaching leaders through performance management, discipline, and difficult conversations; administering onboarding/orientation, I-9/E-Verify, and payroll system enrollment; monitoring compliance across OSHA, FMLA, EEO, FLSA, unemployment, and related regulations; tracking HR metrics and trends; supporting leaves, workers’ compensation, incident reporting, and unemployment claims; maintaining personnel records; coordinating with corporate benefits for program delivery; and supervising receptionist/HR assistant support.
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of human resources experience in a manufacturing environment
- Well versed in employee relations and workplace investigations
- Comfortable handling difficult conversations with tact and follow-through

A Typical Day
You’ll start by checking in with floor leaders and reviewing open items that need timely, well-documented resolution. Throughout the day, you’ll shift between confidential conversations, scheduled meetings, and focused desk time—balancing immediate employee needs with careful documentation and compliance detail. You may facilitate a new-hire touchpoint, review status updates on leave or claim activity, and prepare clear notes and next steps for stakeholders. Expect frequent collaboration with site leadership and corporate partners, with time set aside to organize files, update trackers, and close the loop on prior discussions before end of day.
