This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly. The Sr. Associate, Customer Service Support is primarily responsible for providing exceptional support to the sales force and managing sales administrative tasks. You will build effective relationships between the sales team and internal departments, enhance sales visibility, and coordinate sales campaigns and commercial committees. You'll also support tender processes, ensuring pricing compliance and contract approvals.

As a Customer Data & Pricing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in keeping our business running smoothly behind the scenes. From setting up new customers to ensuring pricing accuracy, you’ll be the go-to person making sure everything is correct, compliant, and ready to go.

This role is perfect if you enjoy working with systems, collaborating across teams, and seeing the direct results of your work in everyday operations. Every product, every order, every customer interaction starts with accurate data. Your work ensures:

• Customers are set up correctly from day one
• Pricing is fair, transparent, and dispute-free
• The business operates efficiently and compliantly

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Set up and maintain customer accounts and pricing data across systems (ERP & CRM)
• Make sure data is accurate, complete, and up to date—your work directly impacts invoicing, payments, and reporting
• Perform validation checks (Bona Fide) to ensure customers meet required standards before activation
• Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Customer teams to resolve queries and improve data quality
• Keep pricing and commercial terms aligned to avoid disputes and protect business performance
• Investigate pricing issues, identify root causes, and fix them at the source
• Support promotional setups, reporting, and data clean-up activities
• Contribute to process improvements and projects that enhance how we manage data
• Act as a trusted point of contact for questions related to customer data and pricing

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• 1–2 years’ experience in data, operations, or administration roles
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science/Engineering
• Exposure to SAP or similar systems is a strong plus
• Comfortable with Excel and working with data
• Strong attention to detail—you spot errors before they become problems
• Clear communication skills (Romanian & English)
• A mindset of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement
