JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greet customers professionally, listen to vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs.
• Provide detailed repair estimates, explain procedures clearly, and recommend appropriate maintenance services.
• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs based on urgency and parts availability.
• Advise customers on additional services — oil changes, tire service, alignments, brake repairs, and more — to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
• Manage service writing accurately — process work orders, update repair statuses, and handle transactions professionally.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers on repair status, recommendations, and vehicle readiness.
• Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary components promptly.
• Promote dealership services to maximize customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
• Ensure all service documentation complies with company policies and industry standards.
• Stay current on Stellantis/Mopar technologies, repair procedures, and manufacturer updates.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven dealership Service Advisor experience or extensive auto service management background.
• Strong mechanical knowledge — hands-on technician or mechanic background highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Stellantis/FCA/Mopar brand standards a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of automotive repair including transmissions, oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension, brakes, and diesel diagnostics.
• Proficient in automotive software and service writing — Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills — ability to explain technical issues clearly to all customers.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships with honesty and transparency.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is based primarily in the service area and involves frequent movement between customers, technicians, and service management. Responsibilities may include conducting road tests on customer vehicles. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service conditions. Regular interaction with customers, service manager, technicians, and employees across departments.
