About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and commercially focused Senior Campaign Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, brand growth and commercial performance.
This role has a particular focus on Fuel, Grocery and Collectables Marketing, working closely with our strategic partner Mobil to develop campaigns that grow fuel volume, strengthen brand perceptions and build long-term customer demand. You will also support supplier-led marketing initiatives across key branded categories and sponsorship programs, including Formula 1.
As part of the Marketing team, you will take ownership of campaigns from brief to execution, bringing together internal specialists, agency partners and suppliers to deliver integrated customer experiences across paid, owned and in-store channels.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Development
Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across key commercial portfolios, with a primary focus on Fuel, Grocery and Collectables.
Develop customer-led campaign strategies and compelling customer propositions that drive volume, transactions, market share and brand consideration.
Develop fuel loyalty and conversion strategies that increase active scan rates, customer engagement and fuel-to-store shopping behaviours.
Identify growth opportunities and develop annual and tactical marketing plans for key categories, including fuel, trading cards and grocery.
Lead B2B communications activity, including Fuel Card, to support business customer acquisition, retention and engagement while aligning with the broader fuel and merchandise strategy.
Ensure campaign strategy, media phasing and creative direction align with marketing strategy and brand guidelines, including Mobil alignment.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Fuel, Loyalty, Category, Digital, Retail Media, Commercial Planning and Operations to align commercial priorities with customer-facing campaigns.
Lead cross-functional campaign delivery, ensuring alignment, accountability and excellence in execution.
Agency & Creative Leadership
Lead internal and external agency partners, including PHD, Clemenger and The Corner Shop, from briefing and concept development through approvals, production and launch.
Develop clear and inspiring creative, media and channel briefs, maintaining high standards of strategic alignment and commercial effectiveness.
Drive creative and media effectiveness through performance analysis, customer insights and continuous optimisation.
Sponsorship & Supplier Partnerships
Lead strategic partnerships and sponsorship activations, including Mobil, Red Bull and Oracle Red Bull Racing, in partnership with the Brand Experience team, to drive customer engagement and commercial value.
Maximise supplier-funded marketing investment through collaborative planning, commercialisation and integrated activation opportunities with suppliers and Anytime Media.
Leadership & Capability Building
Champion collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement across the Marketing team and Branded Marketing chapter.
Share expertise and coach marketers to build campaign capability and marketing excellence.
Measurement & Optimisation
Define campaign objectives, KPIs and success measures, leveraging brand and ad tracking, media mix modelling and customer insights to assess performance and improve marketing effectiveness.
Lead post-campaign reviews and translate performance insights and testing learnings into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven track record developing and delivering large-scale campaigns that drive commercial and brand outcomes.
10+ years' plus experience in senior marketing, campaign management or integrated marketing roles.
Excellent commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making capability.
Strong experience leading creative development and media planning across multiple channels.
Experience managing agency partners and delivering campaigns from strategy through execution.
Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
Experience in retail, FMCG, convenience, QSR or similarly fast-paced consumer environments.
Highly Desirable
Understanding of loyalty, CRM, retail media and digital marketing ecosystems.
Experience partnering and commercialising propositions with suppliers.
Experience managing sponsorships, partnerships or sporting activations, performance measurement and marketing effectiveness frameworks.
