Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Technician who will be assigned daily activities in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects.
Pay: $24-$25/hr DOE
First shift
What You Will Do…
· Understand and support Quality and Safety Systems/Policies
· Ensure receiving of parts is timely and accurate.
· Perform warehouse picks to have organized carts and on time delivery to production.
· Review returned parts to inventory or request RMA from procurement.
· Inspect quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.
· Verify outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that order slips match.
· Maintain detailed and accurate work records.
· Collaborate with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implement viable ideas.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Oversee the daily workflow; oversees scheduling and assignments.
The Essentials…
· 5+ years of warehouse experience
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Knowledge of ERP systems
· Data entry skills
· Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction with and without a calculator.
· High school graduate (or GED) required.
· Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
· Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
Work Environment
This job operates in a variety of settings to include but not limited to an office setting, warehouse, and production facility. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration; noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes and comply with protective clothing guidelines.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to sit.
Regularly lift and /or move up to fifty pounds.
