Senior Specialist, Market Planning

At Wolt, keeping courier supply healthy across every city we operate in is core to a great experience for both customers and couriers. As we've scaled to dozens of countries and hundreds of cities, planning supply has grown from a market-by-market exercise into a global challenge: we need a system that plans well everywhere at once – from our largest metros to our smallest cities.

That's where this role comes in. As Senior Specialist, Global Market Planning, you'll help refine the models and tools that sit at the heart of how we plan courier supply globally. You'll work on making sure the right supply levers are pulled in the right markets to hit our goals, help allocate those levers across markets, and dig into problem areas to find and fix root causes. It's a role at the crossroads of data, tooling, and operations – one for someone who's as comfortable building a model as they are diving into why a specific market is off plan.

You'll be part of the Global Market Planning team and will partner closely with local operations & courier marketing so that our planning always reflects the reality on the ground.

What you'll be doing

• Develop the global planning model: Help develop and refine our global supply planning model so it delivers robust coverage across both large and small cities, accounting for local context like holidays, special events, etc.
• Build the tooling: Develop tools that ensure the correct supply levers are being used effectively across markets to hit our targets.
• Allocate levers across markets: Own within-market supply lever allocation – translating high-level market planning into concrete, market-specific plans.
• Deep dive & solve: Investigate problem areas, identify root causes, and turn your findings into corrective actions and better planning approaches.
• Collaborate: Partner with regional supply leads, local operations teams, and central teams (finance, procurement, product, analytics) on plans, performance, and improvements.
• Improve how we work: Test and prove new concepts in planning, acquisition, onboarding, and activation, and support the roll-out of global improvements across regions.

Our humble expectations

• 3+ years experience in operations, analytics, or strategic business development in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills, with a structured, pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.
• Proficiency in Looker, SQL, and Excel/Google Sheets modelling is a must; other relevant analytical tools are a plus, including Python, Cursor, and Claude Code.
• An attitude for action and ownership beyond the obvious – always looking for opportunities to improve, with the determination to drive change.
• The ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders  – both local and global.
• A true culture champion – someone who leads by example with collaboration, teamwork, and data-driven decision making, and who brings humility and respect to every interaction.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• You are located in either Berlin or Helsinki with the ability to work in a hybrid model from our Wolt office.
