Senior Finance Analyst - CIB Markets

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst within the Corporate and Investment Markets Chief Finance Officer (CIB Markets CFO) team. The Markets CFO team provides strategic advisory, supported by data and analysis, to the Markets Division Leadership that will drive growth, create efficiency, and define strategy. More specifically, this Senior Analyst will provide support to the Equities business in the Markets division reporting to the Equities CFO.

In this role, you will:

• Assist and prepare monthly business reviews materials, and senior management presentations for the Equities leadership team
• Develop insightful commentary on business performance, highlighting key revenue drivers, expense trends, balance sheet movements, and emerging risks.
• Partner with business COO and finance teams to understand variances versus plan, forecast, and prior-year performance.
• Assist in evaluating business initiatives through profitability and return analyses.
• Support annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly outlook processes for the Equities business.
• Maintain forecasting models and assist in developing scenario analyses to support management decision-making.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify opportunities to improve assumptions and methodologies.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities that improve reporting efficiency and data quality.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting the Equities businesses within Finance, FP&A, Product Control, or Business Finance.
• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret and provide insights on revenue drivers, expenses, balance sheet trends, capital usage, and business performance.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, annual planning, scenario analysis, and management reporting in a complex financial institution.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with experience leveraging data visualization and automation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, VBA, etc.) to improve reporting efficiency.
• Proven ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across Finance, COO, Risk, and business leadership teams while communicating effectively with senior management.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset with a track record of challenging existing processes, driving automation, and implementing scalable solutions.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $120,000.00 - $196,000.00
