About the Team
You’ll join a team where people work with integrity, inclusion, innovation, agility, collaboration and commitment. In practice, that means sharing ownership, solving complex problems together and staying connected to the customer context, the purpose behind the work and how each role contributes to meaningful outcomes.
We provide world-leading naval and marine engineering expertise in support of Australia's maritime enterprise. Through our highly skilled team of naval architects, engineers and maritime specialists, we support major Australian naval programs and emerging maritime technologies across ship design, engineering, systems integration, acquisition and sustainment.
Leveraging nearly a century of naval design excellence and access to Gibbs & Cox's global network of specialists, we help deliver complex maritime projects that strengthen Australia's sovereign shipbuilding, naval design and maritime capability.

Support delivery of quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with project, engineering, and defence standards.
Coordinate configuration and quality activities across multidisciplinary and international project teams to maintain project integrity.
Based in Canberra or Newcastle.

Ability to work proactively and independently, ensuring configuration integrity and compliance across the project lifecycle.
This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain a NV1 security clearance.
Applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements. In certain circumstances this can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1.
If this role interests you, we encourage you to apply. We value different experiences and are interested in the capability and potential you could bring.
