Role summary:The (USA) Manager, Supply Chain Management oversees the efficient flow of merchandise through distribution networks and fulfillment centers by resolving operational issues and analyzing data to enhance network performance. The manager provides leadership to teams, supports process innovation, and ensures compliance with company standards. By fostering strong relationships and delivering strategic recommendations, this position contributes to achieving sales, inventory, and profitability goals while promoting operational excellence across the supply chain.

The Supply Chain team at Walmart drives the advancement of the Transportation Network by optimizing shipment operations through technology and process improvements. This team enhances cost efficiency and service quality while collaborating across functions to implement sustainable solutions and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include supporting operational excellence via data analysis, root cause resolution, and strategic planning. The team plays a key role in retail transformation by ensuring timely execution aligned with Walmart’s commitment to customer satisfaction and business success, fostering strong supplier relationships and promoting effective performance management.
What you'll do:
- Manage supply chain processes to ensure efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers.
- Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and return issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize product flow, meeting sales, inventory, and profitability goals.
- Develop and present recommendations to address supply chain disruptions and improve operational efficiencies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by implementing process enhancements and cost reduction strategies.
- Supervise and develop associates, fostering accountability and performance excellence.
- Communicate operational expectations and resolve escalated issues with key stakeholders.

- Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong focus on optimizing merchandise flow and network efficiencies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, mentoring associates, and fostering a high-performance work environment.

- Strong supplier relationship management capabilities, including resolving escalations and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
