What you'll do...
Role summary:The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management, oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers. This role leads resolution of escalated issues, analyzes data to enhance network performance, and manages supplier compliance and external partnerships. The position drives continuous improvement initiatives, coordinates cross-functional collaboration to meet sales and inventory goals, and provides leadership and development for associates. By applying strategic planning and operational expertise, the Senior Manager supports business objectives while promoting integrity, accountability, and a culture of high performance across the supply chain.
About the team:
The Transportation Operations team oversees the complete movement of Walmart orders, ensuring timely delivery from fulfillment centers to delivery networks. Collaborating with internal operations and external transportation providers, the team enhances supply chain strategy, supplier performance, and carrier management. Focused on optimizing network efficiency and service quality, the team drives continuous process improvements and operational excellence. Utilizing data analysis and project management, the team supports seamless logistics execution, contributing to Walmart’s commitment to reliable and efficient supply chain operations. This team plays a critical role in advancing supply chain effectiveness and operational success.
What you'll do:
- Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers.
- Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and return issues.
- Lead relationships with external partners, communicating expectations and overseeing compliance through audits and performance scorecards.
- Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to align product flow with sales, inventory, and profitability goals.
- Drive process improvements using lean concepts and end-to-end costing to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
- Supervise and develop associates, fostering a high-performing team environment through coaching and performance management.
- Develop and execute business plans, removing obstacles and adapting strategies to meet operational needs.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end supply chain processes and driving operational efficiencies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights to improve network performance.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and optimize supply chain flow.
- Proficiency in contingency planning, business process improvement, and performance measurement.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and influence decision-making.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools such as Tableau.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
