Role summary:The Senior Manager, Product Management for Ads Data Foundations leads a team of product managers to translate organizational strategy into actionable plans that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes. This role defines product vision and strategy, oversees roadmap alignment, and drives end-to-end delivery across complex product areas. The position emphasizes data-driven decision making, stakeholder collaboration, and coaching to enhance team performance. By fostering strong cross-functional partnerships and guiding product lifecycle management, the Senior Manager ensures successful execution of initiatives that align with strategic goals and optimize customer value.
About the team:
The Ads Data Foundations team manages the data layer for Walmart’s global advertising, serving as the trusted source of truth across the advertising ecosystem. We ensure consistency and scalability through standardized data, automated quality controls, and common data models. By leveraging data-driven decision making, stakeholder collaboration, and emerging technologies, the team drives product strategy and execution. Working cross-functionally, members define product roadmaps, prioritize customer needs, and deliver measurable business value. This environment fosters innovation and continuous improvement, empowering product leaders to influence outcomes and advance Walmart’s mission to enhance customer engagement with impactful, data-informed advertising solutions.
What you'll do:
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, translating organizational strategy into actionable product direction.
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Oversee end-to-end product delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and quality.
- Guide data-driven decision making through analytics, experimentation, and performance measurement.
- Establish scalable processes for customer insight gathering and validation to inform roadmap priorities.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate priorities clearly, and influence alignment across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by fostering innovation, learning, and operational efficiency.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience leading product management teams within complex product areas, with a strong focus on delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Proven ability to translate organizational strategy into actionable product vision, roadmaps, and priorities aligned with strategic goals.
- Expertise in coaching and developing product managers on discovery, execution, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
