What you'll do...
Role summary:The Senior Manager, Software Engineering, leads platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and roadmap milestones. This role oversees infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure development while driving full lifecycle management across multiple teams. The position champions DevOps practices, cloud cost optimization, and technical excellence to deliver high-availability systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role guides architectural decisions, mentors engineers, and manages complex initiatives to achieve business objectives through innovation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

We focus on delivering scalable, high-quality solutions using iterative development, continuous testing, and thorough debugging. What you'll do:
- Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones.
- Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks to support scalable, secure development.
- Drive full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, championing DevOps architecture and CI/CD practices.
- Manage cloud cost optimization and enhance automation, telemetry, and tooling to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and promote technical quality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities, track progress, and ensure delivery of complex technical initiatives.
- Foster continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and products.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience leading platform engineering and software development lifecycle across multiple teams.
- Strong expertise in DevOps architecture, CI/CD practices, and cloud financial management (FinOps).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical initiatives, aligning execution with strategic roadmaps and milestones.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration to drive project delivery and unblock progress.
- Proficient in software architecture, system design, and technical decision-making ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Effective project management skills with a focus on operational excellence and performance metrics.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
