What you'll do...
Role summary:The Senior Manager, North America Global Inbound, will help build and scale Walmart’s end to end cross border inbound capabilities. This role will lead complex initiatives spanning supplier onboarding, readiness, transportation, and delivery to U.S. destinations, while partnering across Sourcing, Merchandising, Customs, Supply Chain, Product, and Technology. The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with strategic problem solving, using data to identify opportunities, improve execution, and build scalable processes. This is a highly cross functional role for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, creates clarity and accountability, and can translate strategy into execution.
About the team:
The North America Global Inbound team is building the future of cross border supply chain at Walmart. We own the end to end journey from supplier onboarding and readiness through transportation and delivery to the final Walmart destination in the U.S. Our team works across Sourcing, Merchandising, Transportation, Customs, Supply Chain, Product, and Technology to simplify complex processes, improve visibility, and enable growth across North America. As a new and growing team, we have a unique opportunity to build scalable capabilities from the ground up and shape how Walmart’s North America inbound network operates for the future.
What you'll do:
- Own end to end initiatives from supplier onboarding through final U.S. delivery.
- Build and standardize supplier readiness and launch processes.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and operating mechanisms to manage performance.
- Identify process gaps, manual work, and opportunities for automation and simplification.
- Use data to identify root causes and drive measurable improvements in service, cost, and lead time.
- Partner across Sourcing, Merchandising, Transportation, Customs, Supply Chain, Product, and Technology.
- Lead cross functional problem solving and ensure clear ownership of actions and decisions.
- Develop scalable processes that enable expansion of the North America supplier base.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and executive level program updates.
- Translate long term strategy into roadmaps and executable plans.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end supply chain processes and resolving operational escalations.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and drive improvements in network efficiencies and supplier compliance.
- Strong leadership skills in supervising teams, mentoring associates, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Expertise in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements using lean concepts and cost reduction methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings, influence partners, and lead audit and compliance efforts.
- Ability to develop and execute business plans, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related
area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
