About the team:
Our team develops and maintains the Store Fulfillment Platform, a critical system enabling efficient order fulfillment across thousands of stores through automation and associate support. We focus on scalable, cloud-native architecture and continuous enhancement to meet evolving business needs. Leveraging advanced engineering design and AI integration, we deliver reliable, high-throughput solutions that support seamless customer experiences. Collaboration, technical excellence, and innovation drive our efforts to build and evolve a robust platform aligned with Walmart’s operational goals, ensuring consistent, high-quality service at retail scale.
What you'll do:

• Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones.
• Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure development and seamless system integration.
• Drive full software development lifecycle, championing DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to deliver AI-integrated features and intelligent automation.
• Mentor engineers, promote technical quality, and guide architectural decisions for maintainability and performance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, track metrics, and ensure timely delivery of complex technical initiatives.
• Foster continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and effective project management.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
