Role summary:
As a Senior Manager, Real Estate - Capital Management, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing capital investments across a segment of Walmart U.S. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure capital is deployed strategically, efficiently, and in alignment with long-term business goals. This role is also at the forefront of integrating AI and advanced analytics into capital planning processes to drive smarter, faster decision-making.
About the team:
The Capital Stewardship team within Walmart Realty manages approved capital investments by overseeing budgets, forecasts, and governance across programs. Operating at the intersection of Finance, Technology, Construction, and Realty Operations, the team transforms complex data into actionable insights. Focused on scope control, forecast accuracy, and compliance, it advances automation to enhance efficiency and precision. This cross-functional group plays a critical role in safeguarding Walmart’s capital portfolio and delivering reliable financial oversight throughout real estate development and project execution, ensuring effective portfolio and project management aligned with business objectives.
What you'll do:

• Lead capital planning and execution for a designated business segment, including budget loading, adjustments, and tracking. 
• Collaborate with business, finance, and project teams to align capital investments with strategic priorities. 
• Leverage AI and analytics tools to enhance forecasting, identify spending trends, and support scenario planning. 
• Monitor and analyze capital performance, providing insights and recommendations for program improvements. 
• Support post-CPC (Capital Planning Committee) processes, ensuring compliance and financial discipline. 
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance data visibility. 
• Act as a strategic partner in evolving the capital management function.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
