Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Pay Rate: $23/hr starting wage, bumped up to $26/hr once brought on full time.
Job Description: Autonomy Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Renton, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately handling incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring that all materials are properly received, stored, and dispatched. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, solid computer skills, and at least one year of shipping and inventory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
Accurately prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments for delivery.
Maintain and update inventory records using computer-based inventory management systems.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues promptly.
Operate standard warehouse equipment safely and follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of shipping and receiving and inventory experience.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Proficient with computers, including inventory management software, email, and basic office applications.
Ability to lift, move, and handle packages as needed.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $23/hr to start, with a pay bump to $26/hr once brought on full time.
