About the role

We're rebuilding the industrial distribution industry from the ground up, and we're looking for early-career sales reps who can sell water to a fish. If you're willing to work harder than you ever have before, want to do sales in person, and thrive in an always-on environment, this is a ground-floor opportunity to help build what we believe will be a $100B+ company.

We're scaling our industrial supply line, designed specifically for the companies that fabricate, build, and maintain America's physical infrastructure. You'll be talking directly with purchasing managers, shop owners, and plant operators across pipe fabrication, mechanical contracting, industrial construction, energy, and manufacturing as we push hard to define and dominate this market.

The Role

This is a Founding BDR role for Westgate Supply. The first version of the outbound motion is built and producing; you're taking it over and turning it into a machine.

Your job is simple but demanding: generate RFQs. You'll be on the phones all day, testing messaging, turning conversations into quote requests, and feeding real market feedback back into targeting, scripts, and the product line.

We are in-person only and full-time in San Francisco. This is your chance to be one of the first sales hire in a new office that we're building out from scratch.

What You'll Do

• Make 80-100+ outbound calls per day to purchasing managers, shop owners, and plant buyers.
• Generate 100+ qualified RFQs per week and stay on the account through first order.
• Own CRM hygiene in Close and next steps until deals are closed.
• Rewrite, test, and refine scripts in real time, keep what converts, kill what doesn't.
• Learn the industrial supply landscape quickly and speak confidently with buyers who have been ordering parts for 20+ years.
• Work closely with sales leadership to iterate on ICP, messaging, and outreach.

No prior industrial or distribution experience required; we'll teach you the industry.

Compensation

• $80K-$100K base with a $140K-$180K OTE. (Uncapped Commission)
• Early-employee equity.

About Westgate Supply

Westgate Supply is an industrial distributor supplying fasteners, fittings, and machined parts to the companies that build and maintain industrial facilities. We started as Soff, a software company selling tools to distributors. We saw how the industry ran and decided to be the distributor instead.
